Don't Miss Heading Home's 2012 Housewarming Event on May 3
Last year Heading Home's 2011 Housewarming event united Greater Boston’s finest chefs, business leaders, and philanthropists for a spectacular evening that raised more than $600,000 to benefit Heading Home’s mission to end homelessness.
Among the evening’s speakers was 14-year-old Manuel, who spoke movingly about his family’s struggle with homelessness and how Heading Home provided his family with the tools they needed to achieve self-sufficiency and remain permanently housed. In closing, Manuel shared his feelings of profound gratitude: “For me, Heading Home means seeing my mom smile again, and this makes me happy.”
Help put more smiles on many more faces by attending this year's Homecoming Event, to be held on Thursday, May 3rd at 6:00 PM in the State Room, 60 State Street, Boston. More details to be announced.
